' My dad's mentally ill and hurts himself. I have to look after him and my brother. I don't go to school much because I get bullied. The best thing that happens is when I go to CCHF All About Kids for a break every year.' Alisha, aged 10

James May's plasticine comes to CCHF All About Kids!
Many thanks to Plum Pictures who donated enough plasticine to keep the children amused for quite a while after the recent TV programme Toy Stories with James May. We are looking forward to seeing what the children make with it!

Activities for the children included face painting, dance classes and large scale games including what's the time Mr Wolf, slug racing (children wriggling accross the grass in sleeping bags!) and Alice in Wonderland croquet.

Reunion Party
On the 11th July CCHF All About Kids hosted its first reunion event which invited former CCHF All About Kids children, volunteers, organisers and host-families to come together for an opportunity to reaquaint themselves with the charity and each other. Even though the weather was terrible nothing could dent the enthusiam and good spirits that were inabundance on the day.
It was great to see so many people from so many backgrounds with so many stories about their positive experiences with CCHF All About Kids.
A big thanks to everyone that attended on the day.
